I started my design career studying architecture and earned my professional degree from the Pratt Institute. After graduating I worked as a conceptual architectural designer and visualization specialist for a firm in NYC helping clients translate proposals into beautiful three dimensional digital solutions and marketing tools.
While there I began working with one of the partners to develop a software platform that could better help our clients present the materials we were creating for them across a variety of interactive formats and VR.
This experience led me to discover a career I never knew existed, product design. I found a fantastic set of parallels between designing spaces for people and the work of a product designer in ensuring users can seamlessly and joyfully interact with the tools they need.
I worked with a team of designers to deliver world class solutions to clients. Notably for Verizon, we overhauled internal systems for their sales and product teams. More recently I've been working with a major financial services company to redesign their internal and client facing systems
I led the redesign and launch of MARCH’s new website which generated significantly more traffic. I also redesigned and aligned the firm’s graphic standards in addition to overseeing and managing design projects and client relationships.
I assisted in the UX design of a custom AR software platform to support new content types being created. The software was later spun off into its own project and now generates over half of MARCH’s revenues.
Worked in design studios to mentor students through design challenges and give lectures on spesific skills.
I worked closely with a team to design and develop 3D architectural models and visual collateral. We had several of these projects published across industry periodicals and notably our work on 15 Renwick won several awards.
I was hired as an assistant editor for InProcess, a joint publication between the graduate and undergraduate architecture programs. After becoming editor-in-chief, I worked closely with the graduate editor to create two separate publications, a first-ever in Pratt’s history. Our efforts resulted in twice the product under the same original budget.
I prepared presentation documents, assisted on site visits and participated in design charrettes. I had several drawings I prepared published later in a book about the project by the firm.
Completed an in depth series of ux design projects moving through the design process from start to finish covering design theory, professional practices, practical skills, and software tools.
Graduated with honors, professional degree, and several published projects.
